Brief personnel profiles of Tridelta's Executive Directors:

Brian Hett, CEO

Brian Hett Tridelta CEO

Brian is the founder of Tridelta.

Prior to founding Tridelta, Brian held a Board position as Sales & Marketing Director of Biotrin International plc (Biotrin), a venture capital funded company in the field of organ damage diagnostics.

Brian was responsible for the strategic direction of that company and was heavily involved in a successful IR£3.5million  (€4.4million) fund-raising exercise.

Brian joined Biotrin from Boehringer Mannheim GmbH, Germany (Boeheringer) where he worked in the International Strategic Planning Unit. During his seven year tenure at Boehringer, he was General Manager of Boehringer Mannheim, India Ltd, based in Bombay, having previously held senior management positions in the Middle East. He also spent two years with Abbott Laboratories Inc. in Saudi Arabia.

Brian currently acts as an expert evaluator to the European Union in the assessment of scientific projects for funding applications. He was also nominated to the industry group of the European Commission's Competitiveness in Biotechnology Advisory group.

Brian gained a very solid grounding in the diagnostic industry at the beginning of his career whilst working as a Medical Laboratory Scientific Officer in the City Hospital, Nottingham, England for nearly six years.

 

Martin Gallagher, Director of Operations & Marketing

Martin is Tridelta's Director of Operations & Marketing.

Martin joined Tridelta in 1999 as Marketing Manager having gained extensive experience in the Diagnostics, Pharmaceutical, IT and Healthcare fields with Multi-National corporations such as Abbott, Boehringer Mannheim, Novo Nordisk and Gateway.

Martin's early career background saw him spend seven years as a Medical Laboratory Scientific Officer in Haematology and Blood Transfusion, principally at Law Hospital, Carluke, Scotland.

Moving to Ireland in 1993, he holds a 1st. Class Honours M.Sc. in Technology Management from National University of Ireland, Galway and also served as a member of the Advisory Board for Ulearning, an academic/industry partner organisation which develops and delivers third level courses designed to meet the needs of employees and industry in Ireland.
